Your pathway at a glance
A structured route from enrolment to MCIOB outcome — with live sessions, clear milestones and support throughout.
1 Enrol and join your cohort
Cohorts start on the first Wednesday or Thursday of each month. Once enrolled, you’ll receive portal access and your cohort details, including live session timings.
2 Attend live sessions and use the portal
Join live online webinars (typically 12:30 UK time) for direct tutor input and progress checks. Between sessions, use recordings, written guidance and templates in the portal.
3 Build your application with support
Work through the structured programme milestones with cohort peer support via Microsoft Teams and flexible 1-to-1 help from a CIOB-qualified assessor when you need it.
4 Submit for SPC compliance check
When your application is ready, submit it to us. We carry out an initial compliance check and provide advice where refinement is needed before formal assessment.
5 Assessment and CIOB submission
A CIOB-qualified assessor grades your application. If clarification is needed, they will contact you directly. Once complete, we pass your application and grading sheet to the CIOB.
6 Receive your MCIOB outcome
The CIOB typically confirms the outcome within 4–6 weeks of submission. The programme is designed to keep you on track through a focused 12-week structure.

How is this different from the On-Demand route?
This is a structured 12-week cohort programme with live online webinars, peer support via Microsoft Teams, and clear milestones. On-Demand is fully self-paced with no live sessions. Both include 1-to-1 assessor support and the CIOB Assessment Fee.
When do cohorts start and what time are sessions?
Cohorts start on the first Wednesday or Thursday of each month. Live webinars are typically held at 12:30 UK time and last around one hour.
Is the CIOB Assessment Fee included?
Yes. The CIOB Professional Review Assessment Fee is included in the course price, saving you £373 compared with paying that fee separately.
What if I miss a live session?
Portal materials remain available so you can catch up. You can also use 1-to-1 assessor support if you need help staying on track.
Can I join from overseas?
Yes. The programme is fully remote. Learners can join from anywhere in the world, provided they can attend live sessions at the scheduled UK time and meet the experience and evidence requirements.
What support do I get between sessions?
You have access to the online portal, cohort group chat on Microsoft Teams, and flexible 1-to-1 support from a CIOB-qualified assessor by email, phone or video call.
What happens after I submit my application?
We complete an initial compliance check and provide advice if refinement is needed. A CIOB-qualified assessor then grades your application. Once complete, we submit it to the CIOB with the assessor’s grading sheet and keep you updated through to outcome.
Do you guarantee success?
Though We cannot guarantee success as all decsions are subject to final approval by the CIOB, provided you are elligible and you follow our guidance we are confident in your success.
